Intaka Island PDF Print E-mail

The Dodo and I went off to explore Intaka Island this morning … it’s a definite MUST for anyone visiting Cape Town! I can’t believe we have never been before!

16ha of wetlands and bird sanctuary – situated at the centre of Century City, approximately 7km to the east of Cape Town’s CBD.  The wetlands boast a variety of 7 habitats with approx 120 species of bird, of which approx 70 are seen regularly.

This was our first but definitely not our last visit to this little piece of heaven!
