A pair of Bronze Sunbirds Nectarinia kilimensis are in the process building their nest in my garden.  This is the second pair to do so with the first pair having had a nest last year in the same tree but then 'relocating' to another tree about 80m further after a storm destroyed their nest. The latter pair seem to now have established the new tree as their nesting tree and have had at least one succesful fledgling from there.

The female of the 'new' pair may actually be the offspring of the other pair as I have photos where the female is feeding an immature female (still showing the brighter yellow gape of a fledged youngster).

Oh yes, I never get bored with watching them even though I see them all day and this nest is about 20m from my front door (actually I can see it from my office window). Will definitely be keeping an eye out for more activity and the youngster(s) - hopefully more than one although in the past with the other pair I have only seen one youngster post breeding.
