Was in Hluhluwe Game Reserve  yesterday afternoon (10 lions, more white rhino than impala - literally, buffaloe for the whole of africa and a good few eles to get the big five out of the way) with guests who where into everything bush - lovely. The voted highlight of the tour was the following:

We came down onto a low water bridge in the late afternoon sunlight, sparkling pools of water, white sand and big sycamore figs - what could be more perfect. We paused for a while to take it all in when two Stepp eagles floated down out of the sky to land beside one of the pools. They proceded to drink and have a leasurly bath before soaring off into the wide blue again.

Just perfect
