Why I prefer trees to birds PDF Print E-mail
Written by Jean

After much debate and a few coms. with Johan I have added a new tick in my effort to get a better hold on this lbj thing - Cape Canary. Now the debate was because this bird is only a vagrant to Mkhuze and herin lies my preferance for trees. THEY DO NOT MOVE (unless you have had a bit much to drink and they jump out to attack you). They conveniently stay in one place while you id. them and (unless you believe a freind of mines theory on migrating trees - told mostly at around 3 in the morning after a few whiskeys) tend to remain within their required geological boundries.

It is very intricate and can only be understood after a number of tots of your favorite tipple. It involves roots, water availability, drought, browse etc, etc, etc.

LOL, and yeah trees are also not psychic when it comes to lenses pointed at them, they definitely stay put!...well other than the migrating one :-/
