Took Jessie, our dog kid, for a long drive to a beach this afternoon & popped past a Weskus birding hotspot or two. What struck me is that we don't appear to have long tailed birds in this area?
Am I maybe being stupid (again rolllol), or does this have something to do with habitat, topography, food or anything?????? - almost along the lines of do these birds have a particular use for these tails or what???

4 Moosebirds came for pears in our garden this morning. This made me remember that we do have at least 1 long tailed bird in our area rolllol
